June 18th/19th Saginaw Bay Shotgun Start

Time: 7pm- 7am, Registration begins on-site at 6pm. Shotgun start, NO TRAILERING! All teams will depart and return by boat.
Location: Send-off and weigh-in at Sebewaing Harbor Marina. 700 W Sebewaing St, Sebewaing, MI 48759
Boundaries: Saginaw Bay and its tributaries from the Au Gres River to Sand Point. Shooting is permitted up to 3 miles inland on any of the tributaries, and to highway 75 on the Saginaw river and its tributaries.

Cost: An annual BAM membership is also required for this event. $30 membership includes a BAM hat, or a $25 membership that does not include a hat. Numbers and Big 20: $30.00 per person, a maximum of 4 adult members per boat for Numbers class. Side Pot: $5 per person big fish side pot (both classes combined). Teams will buy their $10 launch voucher at our registration table when they register for the shoot. *Teams can get into both numbers and big 20 or just one*
Pay back is determined by the number of paid shooters in class. 1-10 paid shooters pays 1st place only. 11-20 paid shooters pays 1st and 2nd place. 20 or more paid shooters pays 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Big 20: $30.00 per person, no limit to number of members per boat. Payback is determined by number of paid shooters in the class. 1-10 paid shooters pays 1st place only. 11-20 paid shooters pays 1st and 2nd. 21-30 paid shooters pays 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. 31-40 paid shooters pays, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. 41 or more paid shooters pays 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th place. Big fish pot- winner takes all!
All Bam rules apply and can be viewed on the website at bowfishbam.com This is a non trailering tournament. All boundary waters are closed to bowfishing and spearing starting 8pm Friday. Scouting is allowed, but no bows, gaffs, or spears in the boat after 8pm Friday. If you see someone out shooting make a mental note and take a picture if possible of the boat, truck, and trailer and let a board member or host know.
Teams are not allowed to park a chase vehicle somewhere else to unload fish into. Teams must go back to Sebewaing to unload.
There will also be prizes for big fish species: big fish, big gar, big dog, and big goldfish (goldfish must have color) that are included with entry fee.
All boats will launch at the Sebewaing landing, and park in the Sebewaing Marina until send-off. We’ll have a shotgun start, and no wake zones will be in affect (and monitored) in the channel.
